OEM Motion is an independent Coventry-based automotive technology business. We handle BMW CarPlay, Android Auto, iDrive upgrade and coding enquiries. OEM Motion is not affiliated with BMW, Apple or Google.
Information We Collect
When you contact OEM Motion, you may choose to provide your name, phone number, email address, BMW model, year, VIN, iDrive photos, requested service, booking preferences and messages about your vehicle. We collect this only when you send it to us through WhatsApp, email, social media, phone or another enquiry route.
How We Use Information
We use enquiry information to check compatibility, reply to your questions, prepare quotes, manage bookings, provide customer support, request reviews after completed work and keep internal records of jobs and follow-ups.
WhatsApp Messages
If you message OEM Motion on WhatsApp, your message may be processed through official WhatsApp Business tools to help triage enquiries and draft safe replies. Automated replies, where enabled, are limited to intake questions such as asking for BMW model, year, iDrive photos and requested feature. Final compatibility, price and booking decisions are confirmed by Yahyaa.
Marketing Consent
We only send WhatsApp marketing updates where you have opted in or where platform rules allow a customer-service follow-up. You can opt out by replying STOP or asking us not to contact you for marketing.
Sharing Information
We do not sell customer information. We may use trusted service providers such as WhatsApp Business Platform, Meta, Netlify, Google services, email providers or scheduling tools to operate the business. We share only what is needed for the service or communication route.
Vehicle And Media Privacy
Customer photos, VINs, number plates and private messages are handled carefully. We do not publish customer media, registrations, VINs, faces or private messages unless permission is clear and the content has been privacy checked.
Retention
We keep enquiry and job records for as long as needed to provide support, manage bookings, handle follow-ups, maintain business records and meet legal or accounting requirements.
Your Choices
You can ask us to update, delete or stop using your contact details where practical and legally allowed. You can also opt out of marketing contact at any time.
